GRIDLESS POWER AND HERC PARTNER MAKE GREEN, PORTABLE POWER AVAILABLE FOR RENT

COLLINGSWOOD, NJ – Gridless Power, the makers of battery-powered generator alternatives, has partnered with Herc Rentals, formerly Hertz Equipment Rentals, to make their products available for rent. The Gridless CORE is a 1000 wH LiFePO4 battery that charges off a solar panel and can replaces generators for clean, renewable, reliable power.

“We’re excited to be offering the CORE to rental customers,” says Patrick Murphy, President and Co-Founder of Gridless. “We’ve been running an unofficial rental program since we started, lending units out to friends for their booths at farmers’ markets and festivals or for home improvement projects. Now with Herc we can do that on a much larger scale.” The CORE can be used to power everything from heavy construction equipment to small concert stages and refrigeration for food trucks and festivals.

Gridless products are trusted for disaster relief and military applications by customers like Amtrak, the cities of New York and Philadelphia, and Homeland Security.

The CORE is available for rent at $99/day in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington, DC, and will be available nationwide in January 2017.
